The leather is sourced from a tannery committed to reducing its environmental impact through reduced water consumption and renewable energy use. The sole is made of 20% recycled rubber, and the insock is made from chrome-free biodegradable leather. The lining is also chrome-free, and the organic cotton laces are certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).
