Mizuno's latest launch the 'Kintsugi Pack' is inspired by the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi. Dating back to the 16th century, Kintsugi involves using lacquer either dusted or mixed with gold, silver, or platinum powder to mend broken pottery.

This technique represents the Japanese 'Wabi-Sabi' philosophy, which celebrates flaws as a part of life. Rather than hiding them, Kintsugi and Wabi-Sabi encourage us to appreciate and celebrate the beauty of imperfections.

Crafted with premium suede and mesh in soft neutral tones, the Mizuno Contender 'Kintsugi Pack' Shoes in Pristine/Chicory Coffee/Mojave Desert feature the iconic Runbird logo highlighted by a thin yellow line, reminiscent of the gold junctures used in traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The shoes boast Kintsugi artwork on the tongue and mismatched insoles in grey and white.
