The Anderson's Belts Brand Story

Anderson’s is a heritage Italian brand that focuses solely on premium belts. Although covering all kinds of classic designs, the brand is perhaps most famous for its variety of woven belts.

Based in the northern city of Parma since 1966, Anderson’s is still family-owned and still makes every single belt in that one location, with meticulous production methods that involve more than 100 individual steps per belt.

In other words, this is a brand with more than 55 years of true craftsmanship behind it. That’s something we can really get behind here at Urban Industry, because craftsmanship goes hand in hand with sustainability. The better it’s made, the longer it lasts.

The price point for Anderson’s is certainly higher than that of the average belt, but these aren’t average belts. Our owner and buyer, Dan King, bought his first woven Anderson’s belt in 2008. Fast-forward to now and that belt is not only still going strong, but also looks as good as new!

The quality speaks for itself.

You might be wondering why an Italian brand is called Anderson’s… Well, that’s because the brand’s founder, Carlo Valenti, named it after one of his favourite Savile Row tailors – Anderson & Sheppard – which further demonstrates how quality has always been at the forefront of the brand’s identity.
