Created in collaboration with Heart & Bone Signs and renowned sign-painter Bob Behounek, this edition features cover art drawn directly from Beverly’s original pencil sketches. The design proudly highlights the distinctive diagonal “strike-thru” style favoured by traditional sign painters.
This edition features a larger 6" × 8" notebook format, containing 64 pages of graph-ruled paper printed in “Non-Repro Blue” ink—a classic hue still used today in the graphic arts industry. The pages are made from smooth, high-quality Domtar Lynx Opaque 60#T paper, offering a clean and reliable surface for sketching, planning, or note-taking.
Printed with soy-based inks and filled with thoughtful design elements, The Chicago Look is a bold nod to the visual language of American signage, perfectly sized and styled for creatives who appreciate both heritage and function.
